DALSTON SONGS is based on interviews with people in East London about home. It is a staged song cycle with eight singers and was created and composed by Helen and choreographed and co-directed by Steven Hoggett. It was commissioned by the Royal Opera House in 2008 with development time given by BAC, the Arts Council and OperaGenesis. |
